Brett and Cathy are missionaries with World Outreach, a missionary sending organization in Wichita, Kansas. They are partnering with Christian Mission Aid, non-denominational, non-profit organization working on relief and development projects in East Africa. They are currently working in the Upper Nile state of Southern Sudan.
Cathy is a Physician Assistant and has a Masters in Public Health. She has been involved in missions since 1988, where her work has taken her to Turkey, Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan and Chad. Cathy will be training local health workers and developing health care programs to reach the outlying villages. Her desire is to show the love of Christ using her medical skills as well as developing close relationships with women and children.
Brett has over 20 years of experience in construction and has been involved in many mission construction projects in Latin America since 1997. He will be involved in helping to build primary health care clinics and maintain and build the Christian Mission Aid staff compounds. This will bring him into daily contact with local workers, with whom he hopes to share the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ.
