Missionaries to the Philippines

 
Martin and Beth Sanders felt the call of God to the Philippines while actively serving the Lord for 15 years at Maranatha Chapel in San Diego. Martin and Beth led a home fellowship focused on missions as well as a marriage Bible study in their community.

God called them to “enlarge their border” by helping fulfill the Great Commission in Asia as full time missionaries in Manila. They have 3 wonderful children; Leah-18, who will start college this year, Rebekah-17 who will be senior and Andrew-15, will be sophomore at Faith Academy Christian School in Manila.

Their MISSION is three-fold to:

1. EVANGELIZE the lost for Christ through witnessing and helping church planters;
2. EQUIP the believers to become faithful followers of Christ through discipleship and training and;
3. ENTRUST the ministry to faithful national Christian leaders so they too can multiply themselves in the lives others.

   II Timothy 2:2, " And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified  to teach others." This is called "Spiritual Multiplication."

PRAYER REQUEST:

They request your prayers for their priorities in life on a regular basis for their:

• HEARTS: that Jesus will always be their "First Love"  and "Master" so that God's name will be magnififed in their lives first;
• FAMILY: protection and wisdom as they make their marriage a priority in their ministry and as they aim to raise a godly   heritage through the lives of their 3 children Leah, Bekah and Andrew,
• MINISTRY: for continued love for the lost; godly wisdom, guidance, protection, endurance and empowerment by  the Holy Spirit in all that they do as they minister in the Philippines and beyond; 
• PARTNERS: for faithful partners and for God's abundant blessings to be poured upon all of their prayer and financial partners  who make it possible for them to do God's calling.

MissionSpecifics

Country: Manila, Philippines and Asia

Focus: Evangelism; discipleship of laymen so they can reach their own community for Christ and; teaching and training Christian leaders in the local churches in the Philippines and Asian leaders through International School of Theolgy. "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few."
