Among the many mission outreaches that Maranatha Chapel organizes throughout the year, our Festival of Hope in Ireland has been a fruitful one for nearly six years.  Ireland is a beautiful country with a rich Christian heritage. People of faith there are praying for a fresh move of God's spirit, one that would reignite the faith that once influenced the Irish people. 
Every year, working with local Irish churches in and around the Dublin area, we organize a summer Festival of Hope. Filled with outreaches opportunities, the festival offers basketball and golf cllnics, skateboard demonstrations by pro skaters, and Vacation Bible Schools held at partnering churches.  The Festival culminates with evangelistic concert events where musical guests and Pastor Ray share the Gospel.  It's been an exciting and fruitful time as we've seen many commit their lives to the Lord and grow in the faith.

We are thankful for the relationships God has formed between our church and the Irish people, in rural areas and in some of the housing projects of Dublin.  We have some true friends in our brothers and sisters in Ireland.

Current events:

Festival Hope 2005, June 30-July 11.

Ministry opportunities include serving in Vacation Bible School, basketball and golf clinics for youth and adults, street drama and witnessing, pro skateboard demonstrations, men and women's fellowship outreaches, and concerts.  We will traveling to Dublin and some of the surrounding rural areas, working with local irish churches in sharing the Gospel.
