Old Time Movie and Dessert at the Cana Cafe with Your Wife or Girlfriend

BOOK THIS DATE! TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE SHORTLY! Friday May 7th from 7-9pm, we will have our Second Annual Men's "Bring Your Woman to an Olde Time Movie Night".  Yes, this counts as a date!  There will be only 24 tickets available, as this will be in the Cana Cafe.  Tickets will go on sale in the Maranatha Bookstore during regular business hours at $10.00 per couple.  We will be watching an old time movie and serving movie desserts:  popcorn, candy, and bonbons.  If you can't make this one, stay tuned for other date nights throughout the year.

Old Time Movie and Dessert at the Cana Cafe with Your Wife or Girlfriend

Friday April 10th from 7-9pm, we will have our first ever Men's "Bring Your Woman Olde Time Movie Night".  Yes, this counts as a date!  There are only 24 tickets available, as this will be in the Cana Cafe.  Tickets are for sale in the Maranatha Bookstore during regular business hours at $10.00 per couple.  We will be watching an old time movie and serving movie desserts:  popcorn, candy, and bonbons.  If you can't make this one, stay tuned for other date nights throughout the year.

Big 3 Auto Swap Meet 2/27 - 3/1

The Big 3 Swap is an auto swap meet that takes up 3/4 of the parking lot at Qualcomm Stadium.  There will be thousands of people selling old cars and car parts.(Also known as antiquities and precious metals.) I grabbed a couple swap spaces for the Men's group as an area to hang out, camp out, leave newly found car parts, and sell parts if anyone wants to.  I will be camping out there both nights. It should be a great time of fellowship and fun. You can stay for the day, overnight,etc.   Please email me if you are interested so I know how much beef jerkey to buy, and email me with any questions  you have. Click here to see pictures.

"Steak & Study" 
April 7th: 6:30 - 8:30 PM 

There will be a great steak dinner and then a great speaker Ricky Ryan from Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara. The theme is "What men need to know" we will leave that open so our speaker can let you hear what he has to say. Ticket sales start Wednesday the 18th in the book store. Space is limited so buy your ticket ASAP. The cost is only $5.00 each so we expect a sell out.  See pictures here.

Calvary Chapel Mens Conference is Oct 24th. We will be traveling to Calvary Chapel Escondido to watch the telecast from the event being held in Anaheim CA. Guest speakers include Chuck Smith and Greg Laurie and many more. Check out the link for the list of speakers. $6.00 will get you a continential breakfast and a lunch. See you there!!
