As Long As I Breathe is a place intended to encourage and hopefully provide resources to those struggling with legal separation, divorce, divided family issues, and depression. The trials and difficulties we each experience in those situations, are unique. Only the Lord is completely familiar with our hurt and only by His hand are we ultimately healed.

Ephesians 2:10 states that, "we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Not that we manifest any good works by virtue of ourselves or our condition, but that in our weakness, His power is made perfect in us (2Cor.12:9).

Romans 8:28 ("All things work together for good...)  usually brings as much controversy as comfort. Nevertheless, we hope to maintain a place where people can share from their own experiences about how God uses crisis as a catalyst for blessing and restored relationship—us to Him, and to one another. As long as we breathe, we have hope for blessings, healing and new beginnings. As long as we breathe, we can trust in the power of the cross.

The name for this space was inspired by the Latin phrase, Cruci Dum Spiro Fido. "While I have breath, I will trust in the cross!"
