Biblical Counseling
Biblical counseling at Maranatha Chapel is a ministry centered on God’s Word.
Our goal is to help people understand what Scripture has to say about their situation, and then to apply its truths to their lives. We use Scripture to encourage, correct, and guide those seeking help.
Maranatha Chapel does not offer any mental health, clinical or psychosocial services. Biblical counselors are not licensed mental health professionals. Our aim in providing Christian counseling is to help you face life’s challenges in a way that honors the Lord Jesus Christ and allows you to fully experience His love and purpose for your life.
Maranatha Chapel offers biblical counseling for couples, individuals, and families. This ministry is grounded in the truth of Scripture—explaining it, applying it, and using it to encourage, correct, and train. Through God’s Word, individuals gain practical help as they learn to understand and live out biblical truth (2 Timothy 3:16).
Scripture has the power to “penetrate even to dividing soul and spirit… it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). For this reason, prayer and the Word of God are the primary tools in our biblical counseling.
We believe the Bible provides guidance for faith and daily living. Therefore, the support we offer is based on biblical principles rather than secular psychology or psychiatry. Our pastors and lay counselors are not licensed therapists or mental health professionals.
This is a Christ‑centered ministry offering compassionate spiritual support and guidance. We come alongside couples, individuals, and families to help them seek biblical wisdom, encouragement, and hope. We do not diagnose, and there is no charge for counseling.
