Whether you attend Maranatha, are part of another church, or are looking for a church to call home, we’d love to have you join us. We Welcome New Growth Group Leaders!
Is God calling you to lead a small group? Do you already have a small group, but would like a refresher on how to revitalize your group? Join us for a 4 week Leader Training that includes: Leadership skills - Facilitating a Bible study - Setting up a small group and more. Check back for the dates on our next training and how to register. All materials are provided at no charge and there is no cost for this training class.

Learning to facilitate a sermon based Bible study
Setting up for a successful small group and using our InFellowship system

Attend Our 4-Part Leadership Workshop
Workshop topics will include: Maranatha Chapel’s Mission / Vision statements, core leadership skills & ingredients for a good leader, problem-solving, prayer, effective facilitating, group dynamics, dealing with different personality types, setting up your home for group time, our InFellowship program, sermon-based curriculum, and more.
Plan Your Way Forward
After attending the workshop, you will meet with our Growth Group pastor, Martin Sanders, to help plan your way forward as a Growth Group leader. We look forward to meeting you and joining with you on your journey to step out and share your faith with others.

Our Annual Fall Study Launch:
In the fall of 2023 we launched our latest church-wide study in the book by Dr. David Jeremiah: “WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?”
This is a 10-week study in how to live out our faith in a broken world.
This study will identify and help us process the ten societal issues that are currently happening now in our culture. We believe that this study will create great discussions in our groups and spur us on to action in these challenging times. Dr. Jeremiah reminds us “this is not a time for despair, instead this is a time to examine ever more closely the calm assurance of God’s prophetic plan.”

TOOLS FOR FALL STUDY 2023
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE
In the fall of 2022 we launched a new church-wide study in the amazing book of Romans.
It can be argued that no book of the bible has had a greater effect on Christianity than the book of Romans. Martin Luther described Romans as the most important piece in the New Testament and said “it is well worth the Christians while not only to memorize it, but also to occupy himself with it daily, as though it were the daily bread of the soul.
We will be using the Life Change study guide which is very flexible allowing you to adjust the quantity and depth of your study. Whether you are a beginning Bible student or seasoned scholar, this guide will help you to dive deep into Romans and seek to apply its truths to life.
May we truly see life change as we study His Word in Community.
This Life Change series on the book of Romans is designed to be both in-depth and flexible. We have provided additional tools that will help simplify your study together. Growth Group Leaders will be able to stream audio of Pastor Ray Bentley’s in-depth teaching on Romans as well as have access to Pastor Joby Martin’s video teaching who brings unique insight and humor. We will also provide a journal with key memory verses giving you the opportunity to reflect on all that God is teaching you in this study.
