Facilities Caretaker Position
Part-Time | $16.90/hr
We are seeking a dependable and service-minded Facilities Caretaker to help care for our church campus. This position supports the daily life of Maranatha Chapel by ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and ready for worship and events. If you enjoy hands-on work and find meaning in serving behind the scenes, this may be a great fit.
What You’ll Do:
· Maintain cleanliness and order across the Maranatha Chapel campus (indoor and outdoor spaces)
· Set up and reset rooms for weekend services, meetings, and events
· Assist with general janitorial duties across church buildings and grounds
· Open and close facilities as needed
· Support a culture of care, excellence, and hospitality in campus upkeep
This role is a great fit if you:
· Have a high school diploma or GED
· Are a team player with a positive, servant-hearted attitude
· Can work independently and follow through on assigned tasks
· Have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for church events
· Are able to be on your feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks
· Are able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
