The Salvation Army in Escondido serves individuals and families in need by providing practical assistance, food, housing support, and other resources while sharing the hope and love of Christ with the community. Their ministry meets people where they are and helps address both immediate needs and the deeper challenges they face.
For Go Day, we have an opportunity to bless their ministry through landscaping and other physical labor projects. Our team will help create a beautiful, welcoming, low-maintenance, and water-efficient outdoor space that will serve the people who come through their doors for years to come.

For Go Day, we have an opportunity to bless the school by helping tackle several needed campus improvement projects. Volunteers will work together on landscaping and other hands-on projects that will improve the school campus and help create a better environment for the students, families, and staff who call it home.

For Go Day, we have an opportunity to bless our school by helping tackle several important indoor projects that will support the teachers, staff, and students. Volunteers will work together on projects such as deep cleaning, organizing classrooms and storage areas, preparing spaces and materials, and helping create a clean and welcoming environment for the school community. We will also take time to pray over the school, its students, families, teachers, and staff as they begin another year of ministry and education.
San Diego Rescue Mission

San Diego Rescue Mission serves individuals experiencing homelessness throughout San Diego by providing practical support, shelter, recovery programs, and opportunities for a new beginning.
For Go Day, volunteers will make 500 blankets that will be used during street outreach throughout the winter. These blankets will provide warmth to people experiencing homelessness while also serving as a tangible expression of care and an opportunity for Rescue Mission staff to build relationships and share the hope of Christ.

True Choice Medical Clinic and Love Life Ministries both serve women, families, and the unborn by providing support, resources, and a Christ-centered presence in the community.
For Go Day, they will partner together to lead participants on a prayer walk in the San Diego State area. Along the way, we will learn more about the realities surrounding abortion and pray for women, families, and the unborn throughout our community. This will be a meaningful opportunity to serve through prayer, education, and compassionate engagement.
We See You San Diego

We See You San Diego serves individuals experiencing homelessness by providing practical care, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to experience the love of Christ.
For Go Day, participants will begin by assembling care kits filled with helpful items that can be given directly to people experiencing homelessness. We will then head into the community to distribute the kits, meet and listen to people, pray with them, and invite them to the weekly meal hosted by We See You San Diego. This will be an opportunity to meet people where they are, offer practical help, build relationships, and share the hope and love of Jesus.

Hope on the Hard Roads is a ministry that serves individuals with special needs and their families by providing support, community, and opportunities to grow and thrive together.
For Go Day, volunteers will help clean, improve, and landscape a courtyard that will become a welcoming space for activities, gatherings, and community. This project will help transform the courtyard into a beautiful and functional space where individuals with special needs and their families can gather, connect, and enjoy time together.
The Well Community for Women

The Well is a gospel-oriented, women-focused, nonprofit coworking space in San Diego with on-site childcare and a vibrant community.
For Go Day, volunteers will have the opportunity to bless The Well by deep cleaning and organizing spaces throughout their facility and helping set up a children’s library. This practical project will help create a clean, welcoming, and functional environment for the women and children who are served by the ministry. It is a simple but meaningful way to come alongside The Well and support the important work they are doing in our community.
GRACE — Girls Rising Above Childhood Exploitation

Grace Ministry San Diego exists to help girls rise above child exploitation by providing care, support, and a pathway toward healing and restoration.
For Go Day, volunteers will come alongside the ministry by deep cleaning, organizing, and refreshing spaces used by Grace. These practical projects will help create a clean, welcoming, and organized environment that blesses both the staff and the girls they serve. While the work may be simple, it will provide meaningful support to a ministry doing important work to help vulnerable young women experience healing and restoration.
Alabaster Jar Project

The Alabaster Jar Project serves women impacted by exploitation by providing practical support, community, and opportunities for healing and restoration. Their work seeks to come alongside women as they move toward freedom, stability, and a new future.
For Go Day, volunteers with experience in home projects and working with tools will have the opportunity to help renovate an ADU used by the ministry. This hands-on project will help create and improve a safe and functional space that can be used to support women as they move forward in their journey. It will be a practical way to use your skills and abilities to make a lasting impact on the ministry and the women they serve.
